  1. Home based business is definitely the way to go. Sadly, too many people have been educated to believe that a job, created by someone else, is the only way they can succeed.
I highly recommend the book Think and Grow Rich by Napolean Hill. It has a proven formula for developing the type of thinking necessary in order to move from employee mentality to business success mentality.
    Good job on your post!

  2. Some great reasons for starting a home based business. I reason you may not have mentioned is the 6 second commute from the bedroom to the computer, and not having to deal with rush hour traffic, and ice and snow on the roads. At least those are some of my favorite reasons for working at home. Thanks for sharing.

    1. Hey Tom,

Yes sir those are great reasons! Yes indeed I failed to add those in. I will be sure and make that a post for next time because that 6 minute commute is right there at the top of the list. I appreciate the comments. Have a great day.

  3. Hi John, I’ve been transiting from full time work to home business. I’m just about cut down from 5 days to 4 days a week at work, concentrating more time on my website business.
My hope is to be working from home completely in the next year or two.

So my advice for people that are not sure, just try it while still in a job.
