What is MADCash SE?
MADCash SE is a social enterprise in Singapore. It is a social-impact focused fintech company that works with women entrepreneurs to help them achieve greater financial security by providing business and financial acumen to grow their micro- businesses or skills training, with a goal of creating a future bankability score.
Why Female Businesswomen?
Female-run businesses make up between 40% to 60% of all micro-small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in South-east Asia, but most of them don’t or can’t qualify for traditional financial services. There are many more nano businesses that are not seen because they do not register their businesses. This means most of these businesses earn day-to-day or week-to-week revenues, making them vulnerable to any calamity which could severely impact their families and the communities they serve.
Why Singapore?
While many people look at Singapore as a thriving metropolis, there are many groups of people that are struggling. These working poor aren’t sitting at home doing nothing, many of them are employed by have to work second or even third jobs to support their families. In many cases the female heads of the household are also working in secret to make enough to get buy. The goal of MADCash SE is to help to grow these incomes, legitimize their businesses and ultimately create financial independence.

MADCash provides a platform for individuals and organizations to participate in the MADCash programme which focuses on growing micro businesses and/or. Participants can apply to join, but programmes are scheduled to be run at various times throughout the year. Who can apply?
- Women living in Singapore
- Women at least 18 to 60 years old
- Women owned businesses with at least 3 months of history
